Leyes sobre la grabación de llamadas telefónicas en Dakota del Sur

Actualizaciones

Stated federal wiretap damages as an amount the court may award.

We replaced an incorrect "stricter state's law applies" rule with how courts actually decide interstate calls, noted that South Dakota borders all-party Montana and completed the all-party state table, corrected the FCC order numbers and federal wiretap damages, and removed claims that platform recording notices satisfy every all-party law and that federal rules require call recording or announcements.

Removed two fabricated criminal offenses (disclosing and using an intercepted call) that SDCL 23A-35A-20 does not actually create, and corrected the interstate-consent table to show that Connecticut's all-party phone-recording rule is a civil cause of action, not a criminal one-party/all-party rule like the other listed states.
