Leyes de Utah sobre Grabar a la Policía

Actualizaciones

Added the Open and Public Meetings Act condition that a member of the public may record an open meeting only if the recording does not interfere with it.

We corrected the phone-seizure answer (Riley requires a warrant to search a phone, not to hold it), removed a nonexistent state body-camera program in favor of Utah's actual body-camera statutes, clarified what Frasier v. Evans decided, and updated the federal circuit count.

Clarified that Riley v. California requires a warrant to search a seized phone, not for the seizure itself.

Corrected Irizarry v. Yehia citation year from 2023 to 2022 (38 F.4th 1282, 10th Cir. Jul 11 2022). Added Frasier v. Evans, 992 F.3d 1003 (10th Cir. 2021) as the pre-May-26-2019 baseline per Frasier-then-Irizarry progression. Removed erroneous 2023 year.
