Actualizaciones

Reordered the explanation of the NLRB Stericycle standard so the presumption follows the test it describes.

Limited the Labor Department enforcement point to the vehicle-tracking notice penalty and stated the NLRB Stericycle presumption and rebuttal test.

We corrected how this page describes CEPA: it protects reporting or objecting to illegal conduct, and a recording can support that report, but the recording itself is not protected activity. We added New Jersey's written-notice requirement for employer vehicle tracking (N.J.S.A. 34:6B-22), fixed the description of the NLRB's 2025 General Counsel memo, said that the invasion of privacy law is not a list of banned camera locations, and corrected the wiretap civil remedies and the one-party exception's "any other injurious act" limit.

Corrected the criminal grading for covert intimate-area recording (third degree under N.J. Stat. Ann. 2C:14-9(b)) and repointed a dead whistleblower resource link.
