Leyes de Wyoming sobre grabar en público: lo que puede y no puede hacer

Actualizaciones

We corrected the description of Wyoming's merchant detention statute (W.S. 6-3-405), which permits a reasonable detention on reasonable cause rather than setting the only grounds for one.

Added the Wyoming merchant-detention statute to the answer on whether a business can stop you from recording.

Narrowed the public-officials statement to filming police, added the criminal-or-tortious-purpose limit to recording your own conversations, and softened an unsourced statement about businesses confiscating devices.

We corrected the description of Wyoming's Public Meetings Act, which does not cover the Legislature or courts and does not guarantee a right to record, narrowed claims about recording inside government buildings, and added the under-clothing voyeurism felony and the private-land resource-data trespass law as limits on recording in public.
