Actualizaciones

Corrected the description of Georgia's consent rule for a minor's phone and electronic communications (O.C.G.A. § 16-11-66(b)), which is not limited to third parties, and noted that the upskirting statute covers any person.

We corrected the claim that parents have a right to record IEP meetings (federal guidance lets districts limit recording, with an exception when a parent needs it to understand the IEP), fixed the student data privacy act's code range, described the parental-monitoring exception accurately, and added FERPA's rule for videos that cannot be redacted.

Corrected a citation that overstated Georgia's upskirting statute as a general hidden-camera law and narrowed it to its actual scope, and added a note on the separate, narrower rule that applies when a third party (not the minor's own conversation partner) records or shares a minor's communications.
