Wyoming Medical Recording Laws: Patient Rights and HIPAA Guide

Updates

Corrected the description of Kearney v. Salomon Smith Barney (California law applied only going forward), added the transfer option to the EMTALA description, and added the cross-state caveat to the telehealth FAQ.

We corrected the telehealth advice to say that an out-of-state provider's recording law may also apply and that courts disagree on which law controls, and narrowed the emergency-care answer to what federal law (EMTALA) actually requires of hospital emergency departments.

Corrected the security camera section: Wyoming law does not list banned healthcare rooms; we now cite the state voyeurism statute (Wyo. Stat. 6-4-304) and describe other camera limits as facility policy.
