Parents can record IEP and 504 meetings. IDEA does not address recording, leaving it to state rules. School board meetings are subject to the Open Meetings Act.
School cameras: hallways, cafeterias, entrances, buses. Not in bathrooms, locker rooms, or changing areas per § 11-64-2.
FERPA protects student records. The Rhode Island Department of Education oversees school policy.
