What do you want to do?
  1. Who handles the ticket

Traffic offenses outside a city go to the county Justice Court; city traffic violations go to that city's Municipal Court.

  2. Find the court named on your ticket

    Mississippi Judiciary: Court Directories

Covers: Links to the appellate court directory and the Judiciary Directory and Court Calendar; there is no statewide traffic ticket portal, so contact the Justice or Municipal Court named on the ticket

  3. Where this differs

Tickets in Jackson's Capitol Complex Improvement District go to the CCID Court, which takes online payment of traffic tickets through the link on its court page.

  4. Deadline to respond

Respond by the court date on your ticket. Mississippi law allows certain traffic tickets to be prepaid before that date; the back of the ticket explains how.

Sites that charge a "convenience fee" to pay a ticket for you are not the court. Pay only through the court or state site, or a payment page you reach from it.
