Notice Period Calculator Ireland (2026)

Check the statutory minimum notice that applies in Ireland: what an employer must give you when ending your job, and what a landlord or tenant must give to end a residential tenancy. Pick a mode, enter the length of service or tenancy, and see the band table with your answer highlighted.

Statutory minimum notice an employer must give under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Act 1973. Your contract can provide for longer notice, never shorter.
